After a 40+ point blowout at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Santos Vipers have signed Rookie PG #MyPlayer Escobar Rodriguez away from the San Antonio Spurs. He signed a 3yr/$85.8 million dollar contract.
Ownership is looking at every member on the team and evaluating everyone to turn this first year team into a contender right away. SG, Tim Hardaway Jr. had also been rumored to be on the trading block.

Season 5 of the el Rey League kicked off as Premiere Week started with the expansion side, Los Santos Vipers hosting the Virginia Storm at Maze Bank Arena.

SF, Vince Carter was scooped up in the Expansion Draft by the Vipers as he suits up for his 22nd season! The Vipers however dropped their opening night game 60-45 to the Storm.
Some other games that went down during Premiere Week:
The Detroit Pistons defeated the LA Lakers 108-96, the Brooklyn Nets edged out the other Expansion team, Anchorage Huskies 98-95, and the Minnesota Timberwolves best the Cleveland Cavaliers 85-71.
The Los Santos Vipers rebounded after their opening night loss by defeating the Vancouver Ravens in at the Schroeder Center in Vancouver.

The Portland Trailblazers wrapped things up in Game 5 in Philadelphia as they won the el Rey League Finals 4-1 to secure the club’s second World Championship. Point Guard Damien Lillard won the Finals MVP Award as he averaged over 34.4 PPG in the Playoffs and Finals.
